Education.org is an independent non-profit foundation working to advance evidence and improve education for every learner. Its mission is to build resources for education leaders by synthesising and translating an inclusive range of evidence, and to enable these resources to be used by those who make education happen by building bridges across knowledge actors, policymakers and practitioners. Established in 2019 and registered in Zurich, Switzerland, the foundation is supported by a visionary co-investor collective and is growing partnerships across governments, agencies, NGOs, universities, businesses and foundations in Africa, Middle East, Europe, and North America.
Education.org (EO) has been established recently to advance the use of research and knowledge in global education. We are in the first year of a ten-year journey to build an Education Knowledge Bridge, starting with a fast-paced, crowd-sourced prototype around accelerated education. Through this prototype, Education.org will provide a global synthesis and guidance across published and unpublished literature to support choices on AEPs across governments, civil society, multilaterals, donors and others, which amplifies and elevates what has been done and which uncovers evidence that needs greater visibility.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the prototype work of a foundation that aims to be a disruptor to the status quo in the education world, at a truly critical moment for the sector, with the need to reset education policies and compensate the adverse impact that the pandemic could have on a generation of learners.
We are seeking talented consultants with experience in summarising, distilling and synthesizing education evidence. Central to this post is focusing on accelerated learning/education programmes.

This role has the potential to extend into a longer term engagement.
